I love it, Jonna.
The inspiration surely seeps into you because of the history there, in combination with the soft natural light. The smells of birchwood. For the highly sensitive people, these things matter so much. To create fulfilling work – writing, painting, crafting, anything! – we have to be in a place that inspires us. You’ve given me a new idea! My current home does not inspire me – maybe I’ll get some canvas and construct a little walled area outdoors….. hmmmm….. ! :p

Oh my, this is just so beautiful!! I love the photos and what you’ve set up for yourself in this magical space. For me, I’d probably create two spaces, because of mosquitoes! Paint in the barn before they come out, then go into the house in the evenings. I have my art supplies set up in several rooms in our little condo, as there’s not one room for a big studio. Soon will have a table outside to paint and draw there, and can’t wait. I know what you mean about the feeling you get when you are in the barn… like you say, a cocoon, so cozy and nice. I feel this in different parts of our home. It’s so beautiful to have different places to work, to keep the energy fresh and vibrant. I’m so happy for you Jonna. Many hugs and love!

Ett så oerhört mysigt inlägg! ? Varje detalj i det talar till mig, nej skriker! Målargrejerna, konsten, gammal lada, gamla grejer, mysigt ljus, kreativitet, känsla... Jag blir lycklig i själen av att se dina bilder och läsa din text och hade SÅ gärna flyttat in min ateljé i ladan där bredvid dig!
