Wounds are still fresh in America. But any connection here is only apparent. I agree with Cilia that belly dance is a part of world’s cultural heritage. When you think of it, objecting to belly dancing on 9-11 is like objecting to dancing flamenco on an anniversary of
an outbreak of Spanish-American war.

It looks you were deliberately holding back your talent you had shown in your belly dance video. Understandably, other participants could have felt a little intimidated. It is a great idea people getting together, strengthening the community bonds and having fun through dancing.
